Japanese Beef Donburi

Ingredients
- 400g Sirloin Steak, cut into thin strips
- 500ml Beef Stock
- 200g rice
- 4tbsp Fish Sauce
- 4tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
- 1 Red Bell Pepper, sliced thin
- 1 Large Red Onion, cut into wedges
- 4 spring onions, sliced diagonally
- 100g sugarsnap peas
- 1 medium carrot, julienned
- 1 Red Chilli, sliced thin
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
Directions
- Cut the beef into thin strips and place in a bowl. Cover with teriyaki sauce, fish sauce and A&O Togarashi seasoning and marinade until you a ready to cook.
- Pop your rice in a sieve and rinse under cold running water until water runs clear. Transfer the rice to a deep pan, cover with water and cook as per packet guidelines. Once cooked return to the pan and cover to keep warm.
- Place a frying pan over a medium heat and add the sesame oil. Add the beef and sauce to the pan and fry for a couple of minutes until cooked. Transfer the beef strips to a bowl and cover to keep warm.
- Add the sliced vegetables and peas to the same pan and stir fry for around 5 minutes. Deglaze the pan with the beef stock and bring the pan to a gentle simmer for 10 minutes. Divide the rice into two bowls and top with vegetables and beef. Pour a little stock over the dish and garnish with sliced chilli and sesame seeds..
