Care 

This knife is 100% hand-forged from premium high-carbon steel which results in a high-carbon content blade and long-lasting edge retention.

All knives are shipped with food grade mineral oil coating on the blades which we recommend you wash off prior to use.

Care Instructions:

- Hand wash and dry immediately

- Apply mineral oil to the blade before storing for an extended period of time

High carbon Damascus steel blades will begin to form a patina (a slight color change) with use which helps to stabilize freshly forged blades and become more rust resistant over time.

Kitchen Conversation Hit

Got 2 of these beauties (Black and Stainless ) for Fathers Day. Couldn’t be more pleased with this gift. They are a real conversation starter with guests when entertaining.

Built solidly, Damascus forged / hammered effect is very pronounced and while it feels a bit solid / heavy in the hand both are well balanced.

Washed off the oil used to protect the blade in transit (remember both are carbon steel blades and hence need to be wiped dry after use to avoid any spots and if not using them for a while a little vegetable oil on the blade goes a long way in protecting them).

Very sharp so be careful. BEST of all is the beautiful and rugged leather embossed sheath that it came with.
